Repair work or patching potholes is common in the four state area. Patching potholes is best carried out during moderate weather. However, emergency repairs may require patching during poor winter weather conditions. In these situations the repair should be considered temporary. Plan to do a permanent repair after the weather improves.

Sometimes your asphalt may be in pretty good shape except for a few potholes. We can properly prepare the surface to be patched. We will saw cut, repair and compact the base as needed, apply tack coat, fill it with hot mix asphalt and compact it. We do a wide range of repairs from small patches to full depth repairs.

An asphalt overlay entails installing a new layer of asphalt over an existing pavement surface in order to repair cracks and moderate levels of surface deterioration. Almost any pavement surface can be overlaid as long as the existing base is stable and the asphalt pavement is structurally sound. If not, minor repairs and crack filling can be done prior to the overlay. Older asphalt that has extensive damage may require complete removal and installation of new asphalt from the base up.
